A really lovely family in Fulham are looking for a part-time nanny for their 6-month-old baby who will turn one in July when the job starts. The role starts in June to allow handover time as the mother returns to work in July. Both parents work outside of the home.

The family would like two days a week on a permanent basis, with exact days to be decided in March around the nursery. Hours will be from 7:30 am/8:00 am to 6:00 pm. The family may offer a short period of temp-to-perm during May to ensure everyone is happy before starting as permanent, if this is possible for the nanny.

French language skills would be a bonus but are not essential. Experience in cooking for little ones and willingness to socialise with other children is desirable. Recent significant baby experience as a sole-charge nanny in a private home is required. Good references are essential. No driving is required. The family has one cat.

Responsibilities
  • Provide care and supervision for the baby, ensuring health and safety, and support the parents in daily routines.
  • Prepare simple meals for the child and assist in outdoor play and social interactions.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment and communicate daily updates to the parents.
Qualifications
  • Experience as a sole-charge nanny for babies up to one year.
  • Current updated First Aid certification.
  • Enhanced DBS check (on the UK update system).
  • At least three checkable references from the last three childcare employers.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Availability in London to interview; proximity within 30 minutes door-to-door.
