Nigel Wright Group is supporting Fulham Football Club with this search for the Head of HR. Fulham Football Club is London’s oldest professional football club and is entering an exciting new era of growth across the wider Fulham Group. We are looking for an exceptional Head of HR to lead the people strategy and inspire the talented HR team. This is a rare opportunity to join an organisation with deep heritage, strong values, and a bold vision for the future.
The Head of HR will directly influence the experience of everyone who contributes to the success both on and off the pitch. As Head of HR for the Group, you will lead an ambitious and committed HR function of four, supporting their growth and ensuring the highest standards across all HR operations. You will be the trusted advisor for the Management Board across the Group and lead on all people related matters. This is an exceptional opportunity to shape a diverse, multi-disciplined workforce and develop people strategies that directly enhance organisational performance. You’ll combine strategic leadership with hands-on delivery, thriving in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key elements of the role include:
- Creating and delivering progressive, impactful people strategies aligned to our Group goals.
- Coaching, developing and empowering the HR team, driving excellence in all HR operations, systems, processes and compliance.
- Supporting the Safeguarding and EDI teams to ensure that best practice is embedded across the business.
- Leading talent, performance, succession planning and workforce development.
- Partnering with the Management Board and people managers, supporting change, resolving people challenges, and enabling continuous improvement.
- Modernising benefits and reward to attract and retain great people.
- Championing engagement, wellbeing and a high-performing, inclusive culture.
