To lead, coach and support the development of the U18s team, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
The coach will be responsible for delivering coaching sessions that align with the club’s philosophy, and long-term player development plan.
Requirements
Essential and Desirable
The U18s Lead Pathway Coach (Women) must
- Have their UEFA B Licence (or currently working towards).
- Have their FA Introduction to First Aid in Football certificate (valid and in date).
- Have their FA Safeguarding Certificate (valid and in date).
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with players, parents/carers, colleagues and key stakeholders.
- Demonstrate understanding of player-centred coaching and long-term player development.
- Have experience delivering individual player development programmes.
- Have experience coaching within female football programmes and/or elite football environments.
- Have experience identifying and recruiting players within the women's football pathway.
- Show an ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, whilst also working independently when required.
- Demonstrate excellent organisational skills, with strong attention to detail and consistently high professional standards.
- Have the ability to appropriately challenge, support and motivate young players.
Ideally, U18s Lead Pathway Coach (Women) will
- Have their UEFA A Licence (or currently working towards).
- Demonstrate experience working with elite youth female footballers.
- Have previous experience within an FA Regional Talent Club (RTC), Professional Game Academy
(PGA), Women's Super League Academy or similar environment.
- Have experience using HUDL (or similar video analysis software) to support player development.
- Have the ability to make effective decisions under pressure.
- Demonstrate resilience, accountability and ownership in challenging situations
