This role involves leading the running and ongoing development of the Redhill Advanced Centre for the Pre‑Academy on Thursdays at Donyngs Leisure Centre, ensuring the programme operates to the highest standards.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing all session registers, databases, and safeguarding requirements.
  • Delivering clear and consistent communication and development feedback to players and parents, including conducting retain and release conversations.
  • Overseeing the coaching provision and day‑to‑day organisation of the centre, such as staffing, equipment management, and liaising with the facility—particularly around school holiday schedules—to ensure smooth and effective delivery.

Requirements

Essential experience:

  • Working in a sports/participation based environment.
  • Experience of managing projects.
  • Coaching football to young people, specifically ages 5 to 10.
  • Experience working as an individual as well as part of a team.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Teams.

Essential qualifications:

  • FA First Aid qualification.
  • FA Safeguarding qualification.
  • IT Literate - proficiency in Microsoft Office; including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent time management, organisational and planning skills.
  • Knowledge of coaching standards and best practice.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • An understanding of and commitment to safeguarding and equality, diversity and inclusion within the workplace.
  • UEFA C Licence.
