Fulham FC Foundation are currently seeking an enthusiastic and committed person to take up the position of School Sport Officer. Reporting directly to our School Sport Manager, the School Sports Officer is responsible for managing and overseeing the delivery of our School Sports Programme. This role involves ensuring the quality of sessions delivered within the school sports programme including curriculum PE, lunch time & after school clubs, and participation events. The School Sports Officer will manage and recruit sessional coaches to deliver on the programme and oversee quality assurance of these coaches. This is a 40 hour a week role where flexibility is essential, as the role necessitates involvement in supporting the delivery of programme activities as and when required.
The ideal candidate will be somebody who has prior experience working within a primary school setting and understands the PE curriculum. As well as, someone with experience in managing sessional staff and their quality of delivery in sessions.

- Monday: 8am – 4:30pm
- Tuesday: 8am – 4:30pm
- Thursday: 8am – 4:30pm
- Friday: 8am – 4:30pm

Job Requirements
Experience
- Managing a project(s) to a high standard and proven track record of delivering strong outcomes from them.
Skills, Knowledge & Qualifications
- Working knowledge of KS1/2 PE Curriculum
- FA First Aid Qualification
- FA Safeguarding Qualification
- Strong Microsoft Office capabilities (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel in particular)
- Experience in collecting high quality M&E on projects delivered/overseen
- Ability drive and access to a car or be able to travel independently

- A hardworking and committed individual who is a keen problem solver
- Positive thinker who looks for solutions rather than problems in any situation
- Willing to step-up when needed and does not shy away from a challenge
Preferred Experience
- Working within a primary school setting, in particular PE background.
- Overseeing and organising events with external participants

Skills, Knowledge & Qualifications
- Qualified teacher status, in particular from a PE background
- HLTA qualification or equivalent
- Understanding of the sports charity landscape/previous experience within it
Job Responsibilities
- Programme Implementation: Coordinate, develop and oversee our School Sports Programme, ensuring that all facets of sessions are delivered to a high-quality standard.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders such as local schools and the school sports partnerships to enhance participation at sessions.
- Strategic Alignment: Ensure that programme activities are aligned with the Foundation's strategic aims and objectives, contributing to broader organisational goals.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain high quality standards of sessions by delivering quality assurance of sessional coaches on a termly basis.
- Event Coordination: Organise events, tournaments, and activities to promote community engagement outside of school, including supporting participation at holiday provision camps.
- Monitoring and Evaluation: Implement monitoring and evaluation processes to assess the effectiveness and impact of programme delivery, and use findings to inform future planning and decision-making. Contribute towards the mid-year and end-of-year reports of the School Sports Programme.
- Reporting and Communication: Provide regular reports to School Sports Manager on programme outcomes, challenges, and opportunities, and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Health & Safety: Ensure safeguarding and risk management are being adhered to across all activities.
