Are you a skilled Management Accountant, or an individual with significant relevant experience who is qualified or currently studying towards a career in accounting and looking to gain valuable hands-on experience in the charitable sector? Fulham Football Club Foundation is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Management Accountant.
Hours: 20 hours per week (part-time)
Salary: ÂŁ15,000 - ÂŁ18,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Responsibilities:
- On a monthly basis, preparing and recording journal entries to facilitate the preparation of management accounts for the Foundation, followed by reporting to Senior Management on variances against the budget or forecast.
- Oversee the integrity of data within the accounting system, including reconciling control accounts.
- Collaborate with Fulham Football Club to ensure accurate recording of intercompany balances.
- Manage and maintain the Foundation’s fixed asset register, supporting the IT department in ensuring sufficient assets are available for staff.
- Work with the Finance Officer to ensure all income and expenditure are accurately recorded.
- Monitor and forecast the Foundation’s cashflow to support effective cash investment.
- Update programme spend plans, enabling Managers to monitor budgets and track progress, ensuring accurate data for grant and activity reporting.
- Assist the Director of Finance with budgets, forecasts, year-end reporting, and audits.
- Support the Director of Finance, colleagues, and executives with ad hoc projects and tasks as required.
What We’re Looking For:
- Someone with proven experience in a similar management accounting role or someone currently studying towards a professional accounting qualification (e.g., AAT, ACCA, CIMA, or similar).
- Strong understanding of accounting systems and data integrity.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and supporting team members.
- Experience in the charity or not-for-profit sector is desirable but not essential.
- Passion for using your skills to make a difference in the community.
