The predicted salary is between 29700 - 36300 Β£ per year.

In this role, you will develop and implement pricing strategies for our product portfolio, ensuring competitiveness and profitability. Your market research, insights, and analyses will help shape our pricing models, drive revenue growth, and support strategic decision-making. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure our pricing aligns with client and business objectives and market demands. You will also monitor demand and inventory trends to dynamically adjust pricing, and develop sales forecasts and plans that align pricing decisions with revenue and volume targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive market research to assess pricing trends and customer demand to identify pricing opportunities.
  • Analyse product performance, sales data, and feedback to make data-driven pricing decisions and recommendations.
  • Execute pricing changes across all channels.
  • Create and maintain pricing models and frameworks to evaluate new products and adjustments to existing pricing structures to achieve company forecasts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and category management, to align pricing strategies with overall business goals.
  • Prepare detailed pricing reports and presentations for stakeholders, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Monitor pricing performance and market conditions to make data-driven adjustments and enhancements.
  • Assist in creating pricing policies, guidelines, and communication materials for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes that may impact pricing strategies.
  • Monitor and evaluate pricing performance against KPIs, providing insights for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure pricing accuracy at all times, implementing checks and controls to prevent pricing errors that could impact revenue or client trust.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support overall business operations and objectives.

Price Optimisation: Measurement of the percentage increase in revenue resulting from pricing changes or strategies.

Revenue Growth: Percentage increase in revenue attributed to pricing strategies over a specific period.

Gross Margin: The average gross margin for products, indicating profitability for the client.

Competitive Pricing Position: Analysis of product prices relative to competitors to ensure market competitiveness.

Discount and Promotion Effectiveness: Assessment of sales performance during promotional periods, including the impact of discounts on overall revenue.

Customer Retention Rate: Percentage of customers retained post-pricing changes, indicating customer loyalty and satisfaction.

Pricing Accuracy: Percentage of products or transactions priced correctly according to approved pricing rules, systems, and guidelines, reflecting the reliability of pricing execution and minimizing revenue leakage from errors.

This role reports to: Head of Category Management. Direct reports: 0. 12 Month FTC with possibility to extend for the right candidate.
