Fulfillable is one of the UK's fastest growing third party logistics companies. We handle warehousing, fulfilment and distribution for 120+ e-commerce brands across three UK sites, using precision technology and a team that genuinely cares about getting it right. We have grown 104% year on year, built our own proprietary WMS and partnered with robotics manufacturers to bring automation into our operations. We are not a traditional 3PL – we are a tech first logistics business moving at a serious pace.
As Warehouse Manager at our Bury St. Edmunds site, you will take full ownership of day to day operations, leading a team of supervisors and operatives across inbound, pick, pack and dispatch, and driving the standards, structure and culture the site needs to perform at its best.
What you’ll be responsible for:
- Leading and developing a team of supervisors and warehouse operatives – setting clear expectations, managing performance and building a high functioning team.
- Owning site safety – ensuring full compliance with H&S regulations, maintaining risk assessments, conducting regular audits and embedding a safety first culture across every shift.
- Driving operational performance across throughput, order accuracy, inbound SLAs and dispatch – and taking clear accountability for the actions to hit them.
- Building and maintaining standard operating procedures, and ensuring consistent adherence across the team.
- Owning labour planning – building rotas, matching resource to volume and developing flexible capacity to handle day to day and peak fluctuations.
- Playing a lead role in our WMS migration to ShipHero – supporting the transition and driving team adoption of the new platform.
- Taking ownership of stock accuracy – implementing cycle counting disciplines and driving continuous improvement in inventory management.
- Managing inbound operations – SLA compliance, client communication on inbound requirements and maintaining safe yard processes.
- Championing 5S standards, housekeeping and a clean, organised working environment.
- Working with the Head of Operations and wider business to support continuous improvement and the next phase of Fulfillable’s growth.
What we’re looking for:
Essential:
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager in a fast paced fulfilment, 3PL or logistics environment.
- Strong people leadership – experience managing supervisors and frontline teams, including handling conduct and performance formally.
- Solid working knowledge of warehouse H&S – risk assessments, FLT/VNA operations, fire safety and compliance requirements.
- Hands on and credible on the warehouse floor, but also able to step back and think strategically about process and improvement.
- Experience implementing or improving SOPs, 5S standards and operational disciplines.
- Comfortable with data and systems – WMS experience essential, confident using reporting to manage performance.
- A natural communicator – able to engage a warehouse team and work effectively with senior leadership.
- Resilient and organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast moving environment.
- Flexibility to support the business when needed, including occasional weekend and night working.
Desirable:
- Experience in a multi client 3PL or e-commerce fulfilment environment.
- Familiarity with ShipHero, Mintsoft or similar cloud based WMS platforms.
- IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent H&S qualification.
- VNA or counterbalance FLT licence.
- Experience of lean or continuous improvement methodologies.
What we offer:
- £44,000 - £49,000 depending on experience.
- Real ownership and autonomy – you will be the most senior operational voice on site.
- A growing business with genuine opportunities to develop as we scale.
- An ambitious leadership team that moves fast and backs its people.
- Real responsibility from day one – this is not a role where you manage by spreadsheet.
