Fulcrum Recruitment is working with a respected civil engineering main contractor that is looking to appoint an experienced Sub Agent to support the delivery of a landmark civil engineering scheme in the North East. This is a permanent opportunity with a well-established design-and-build contractor delivering civil engineering and infrastructure projects across the region.
The role will suit an experienced Sub Agent, or a strong Section Engineer / Senior Engineer who has already stepped into management and is ready for broader responsibility. The position will be based around Seaham, with regional travel as required.
The Role
As Sub Agent, you will take day-to-day responsibility for site delivery, supporting the successful management of civil engineering works from planning and coordination through to completion and handover. You will lead site teams, coordinate subcontractors, manage short-term programmes, maintain quality and safety standards, support commercial processes and ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to specification. The role will suit someone who is hands-on, technically strong, commercially aware and confident working with clients, subcontractors, engineers and operational teams.
