Fulcrum Recruitment is working with an established North East contractor that is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor or Managing Quantity Surveyor to strengthen its Civil Engineering Division. This is a permanent opportunity for a commercially strong civil engineering professional who enjoys being close to live projects, understands the realities of site delivery and can take ownership of the commercial function across multiple schemes or major civils packages.

The role can be based from either the company’s Teesside or Newcastle office, depending on the successful candidate’s location and personal circumstances, with travel to sites across the North East as required. The business has a strong regional workload, with a significant amount of secured work through long-term frameworks and repeat clients. This is a good opportunity for someone looking for stability, responsibility and genuine progression into a more senior commercial role.

The Role

As Senior Quantity Surveyor / Managing Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for the full commercial lifecycle of civil engineering projects and packages, working in an NEC contract environment.
