This is a long-term opportunity with a respected main contractor delivering a varied range of design-and-build infrastructure and public realm schemes. The company operates across the region, with current and upcoming projects covering areas such as South Durham, Teesside, North Yorkshire and the wider North East. The work is regional, meaning no regular lodging away and the opportunity to be home every night.
The Role
As General Foreman, you will take day-to-day responsibility for site operations, ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently and to the required standard. You will supervise direct labour and subcontractors, coordinate plant and materials, maintain site records, support short-term planning and work closely with Site Agents, Project Managers and the wider delivery team. This role would suit an experienced General Foreman who takes pride in site standards, communicates well with site teams and clients, and can keep works moving without compromising safety.
