An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Engineer to join a well-established national civil engineering contractor delivering technically challenging marine and heavy civil engineering projects across the UK. The contractor delivers reinforced concrete structures, sheet and driven piling, cofferdams, rock armour, coastal protection, harbours, quays, jetties, piers, lighthouses and wider marine infrastructure. This is a permanent role involving regular travel and periods working away from home.
The Role
Working as part of an experienced engineering and site management team, you will support the safe, accurate and successful delivery of projects. Key responsibilities will include:
- Setting out reinforced concrete, piling, cofferdam and marine construction works
- Using robotic total stations and associated surveying equipment
- Preparing, uploading and working from coordinate information independently
- Setting out from drawings, digital models and construction information
- Completing as-built surveys and maintaining accurate engineering records
- Undertaking quality assurance inspections and associated documentation
- Assisting with ITPs
