Pipe Fitters, Pipe Welders & Mates are engaged for installation and fabrication tasks across sites, with responsibilities including installation of cable tray, ladder racking, uni strut supports & brackets, and preparation for pipework.
Responsibilities
- Fabrication of 2 - 4 inch & 6 - 8 inch pipework and setting up pipe butts & flanges for welding.
- Welding pipework to coded specifications using TIG or MMA processes.
- Connecting pipework to panels and valves/manifolds from general and PID engineering drawings.
- Fitting screwed, maypress and small bore compression pipework.
- Completing checks and pipework tests.
- Working from IPAF Scissor Lift/Cherry Picker as required.
Location & Travel
Recruiting for sites in Wrexham, Carmarthen, Cardiff, Newport and other areas. Travel and lodging may be required; hotel and meals may be provided if required for 3 to 5 nights per week when sites are not local.
Hours & Term
Hours: 07:00–19:00 Monday to Friday; Saturday 07:00–16:30; Sunday if required. Term: 4 to 6 weeks subject to attendance, performance and workload.
Pay
Skilled: £27 per hour (Mon to Fri); £32 per hour Saturday; £35 per hour Sunday. Lodging hotel and meals paid if living 60+ miles from site.
