We are currently recruiting personnel at all levels in the Thetford & Mildenhall areas, who are qualified/skilled/experienced.
- Skilled Trades Welder TIG: Working on varied light gauge jobs, from drawings, on the fabrication of sheet metal panels, tubing, frames, supports etc. Welding to high spec using TIG mainly. Ideally able to weld using MIG as well.
- Welder: Working on varied structural jobs, from drawings, on the fabrication of frames, supports etc. Welding to high spec using MIG mainly.
- Production Welder: Basic MIG welding of metal components. Must have some MIG welding skills, but trainees also considered.
- Fabricators: Working on measuring, marking out, cutting, prepping metal box, tube, angle, frames for specialised work. Using Tube Bending, Press Brake, Gas Cutters, Saws, Grinders, Drills.
- Semi Skilled Fabricators: Cutting, prepping metal box, tube, angle, frames for specialised work. Grinding/Polishing up sheet metal & steel plate. Assisting Fabricators & Sheet Metal Workers with their work when required.
- Sheet Metal Workers: Working on measuring, marking out, cutting, prepping sheet metal frames for specialised work. Able to use guillotines, saws, press etc.
Key Qualifications or Certifications: Should ideally be qualified to C&G or NVQ in Engineering or Sheet Metal Work or Welding & Fabrication. CNC Machinery experience ideally Amada & Trumpf Machines.
Pay Rates:
- Welders, Fabricators, Sheet Metal Workers: £16+ per hr O/T £20+ to £24+ depending on skills/quals.
- CNC Setter Ops: £13.50 to £16+ per hr depending on skills/quals O/T £20+.
- CNC Ops: £11.70 to £12.50+ per hr depending on skills/quals.
Assembler/Fitter: Working on the fitting of components and building together units from drawings.
CNC Setter Op: Working on the setting of CNC Press, Punch, Saw machines to produce parts in sheet metal, metal frames etc.
