We are acting as an Employment Business on behalf of our Clients. We’re looking for experienced Pipe Fitter Supervisors & Charge Hands:

  • Supervising & control of Skilled & Semi Skilled Trades.
  • Ensuring work areas are ready for work.
  • Permits to Work & Drawings are at the work place.
  • Work is completed safely, to strict QC Specs & to Drawings.
  • Working on the fabrication of pipework 2 - 4 inch & 6 - 12 inch carbon & stainless pipe.
  • Setting up pipe butts & pipe flanges to strict QC specs ready for Coded Welders to weld.
  • Fitting pipe work, valves, supports to engineering drawings.
  • Also fitting pre fabricated pipe spools & supports.

Current Nuclear Power Clearance Cert for Hinkley Point (ideally).

Qualified to Level 3 / Apprenticeship / ACE in Pipe Fitting.

Have minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience (nuclear, oil & gas, power generation, petrochemical, marine & shipbuilding, heavy industrial construction) and can demonstrate this in a Competency Based Interview.

Able to read PID Drawings & G A Drawings.

Fabricate pipe work to strict QC Specs.

Pipe & Mechanical Supervisory experience ideally SSSTS & IOSH Certs.

Valid CCNSG Safety Passport is essential prior to starting.

Pay Rates (PAYE):

  • £33 Days
  • £39.50 Nights
  • £46.00 OT1
  • £58.00 OT2
  • up to £2.94 Bonus
  • £53.39 per day / £373.73 per week lodge allowance

Return rail and travel time paid.

Term Work = 2 to 13 + weeks to start with other phases of work could be long term 26 - 52 weeks.

Working arrangement is 10 days on / 4 days off (Tuesday through to the following Thursday), day shift and night shift options.
