We are recruiting long‑term contract work for petrochem & power sector sites. The role involves pipe fitter fabrication, pipe/plate coded MIG FCAW, MMA, TIG welding and welders who must complete a coded weld test before starting work.
Responsibilities
- Fabrication of large bore 24‑48 inch carbon pipework and other 6‑8 inch & 10‑12 inch pipework.
- Setting up pipe joints and flanges for welding.
- Welding pipework to coded specifications using MIG FCAW & TIG or MMA; performing TIG root and hot passes, MIG FCAW or MMA fill and cap as required.
- Fabrication and welding of gas pipework, including completion of pipe tests.
- Conducting checks and pipework tests.
Qualifications
- C & G or NVQ in Welding, Pipe Fitting or Plating.
- CCNSG Safety Passport or EMSS Safety Passport.
- Previous experience with large bore pipework on petrochem & power station projects.

Working Hours
- Monday to Friday 07:00 – 17:00 or 19:00;
- Saturday 07:00 – 15:30;
- Sunday if required.
Contract Duration
18 to 26 weeks, with the possibility of extension based on attendance, performance and workload.
Compensation
Skilled £26.00 per hour + £2.00 per hour retention bonus Monday to Friday; £33.00 per hour Saturday; £36.00 per hour Sunday.
Travel & Lodging
Further work may be available for those prepared to travel and lodge away with hotel & meal paid by the company, for 3 to 5 nights per week if sites are not in local areas.
