We are acting as an Employment Business on behalf of our Client. Recruiting skilled and semi‑skilled applicants for various sites. Locations include Northampton, Peterborough, Huntingdon, Norwich, Bury St Edmunds, Sudbury, Ipswich, and other areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Installation of cable tray, ladder racking, unistrut supports, and brackets ready for pipework.
  • Fabrication of 2‑4 inch and 6‑8 inch pipework and setting up pipe butts & flanges for welding.
  • Pipework welding to coded specifications using TIG or MMA.
  • Gas pipework fabrication, fitting, welding and completion of pipe tests.
  • Connecting pipework to panels, valves and manifolds from general and PID engineering drawings, fitting screwed, maypress and small‑bore compression pipework.
  • Installation of mechanical systems on machinery and erection of fitting steel‑work platforms on food factory sites.
  • Completion of checks and pipework tests.
  • Working from IPAF scissor lift/cherry picker.

Additional Work:

Further work may be available if prepared to travel and lodge away; hotel and meal paid by the company for 3‑5 nights per week when sites are outside local areas.

Hours & Term:

Hours of work: 07:00‑17:00 Mon‑Fri; Sat 07:00‑15:30; Sun if required. Term: 4 to 8 weeks plus other phases of work; could be longer subject to attendance, performance and workload.

Pay:

Skilled: £26 per hour Mon‑Fri. Saturday: £33 per hour. Sunday: £35 per hour.
