Job Responsibilities:
- Fabrication of sheet metal, plate, pipe work.
- Welding with TIG & MIG; erecting & fitting pipe and steel work from engineering drawings.
- Installation of cable tray, ladder racking, unistrut supports & brackets ready for pipework.
- Fabrication of 2‑4 in & 6‑8 in pipework; setting up pipe butts & flanges for welding.
- Pipework welded to coded specs with TIG or MMA.
- Connecting pipework to panels, valves, manifolds; working from general & PID engineering drawings; fitting screws, Maypress and small bore compression pipework.
- Installing mechanical systems on machinery & erecting fitting steel work platforms at food factory site.
- Completing checks & pipework tests; working from IPAF Scissor Lift/Cherry Picker.
Job Details:
- We are acting as an Employment Agency on behalf of our Client. Recruiting Skilled & Semi Skilled Applicants/Workers for their various Sites such as Wrexham, Carmarthen, Cardiff, Newport and other areas.
- Further work could be available if prepared to travel and ideally prepared to lodge away with hotel & meal paid for by Company, if required for 3 to 5 nights per week if Sites are not in local areas.
- Hours of Work = 0700 to 1900 Mon to Fri and Sat 0700 - 1630 & Sun if required.
- Term Work = 4 to 6 weeks subject to attendance, performance & workload.
- Pay = Skilled £27 + Mon to Fri & £32 per hr Sat & £35 per hr Sun.
- Lodge = Hotel & Meals paid if living 60 + miles from Site.
