We are acting as an Employment Business on behalf of our client, recruiting skilled and semi‑skilled workers for their various sites.

Responsibilities

  • Install cable tray, ladder racking, uni‑strut supports and brackets for pipework.
  • Fabricate 2–4 inch and 6–8 inch pipework, set up pipe butts and flanges for welding to coded specifications using TIG or MMA.
  • Fabricate, fit and weld gas pipework, then complete pipe tests.
  • Connect pipework to panels, valves manifolds and general and PID engineering drawings, including fitting screws, maypress and small‑bore compression pipework.
  • Install mechanical systems on machinery and erect steel work platforms on food factory sites.
  • Complete checks and pipework tests.
  • Work from an IPAF scissor lift or cherry picker.

Locations and Travel

Northampton, Peterborough, Huntingdon, Norwich, Bury St Edmunds, Sudbury, Ipswich and other areas. Prepared to travel; lodging paid by the company for 3–5 nights per week if sites are not local.

Working Hours and Term

Hours: 07:00–17:00 Mon–Fri, 07:00–15:30 Sat, Sun if required. Term: 4–8 weeks, with potential extension subject to attendance, performance and workload.

Pay

Skilled: £26 per hour Mon–Fri; £33 per hour Saturday; £35 per hour Sunday.
