Fulcrum Engineering & Technical are acting as an Employment Business on behalf of our Clients.
Roles:
- Fabricator Welders will be involved with fabrication on sheet metal, plate, and pipework on higher spec fabrication work such as tanks, vessels, and conveyors.
- Welding work with TIG mainly and MIG on supports & frames.
- Sheet Metal Welder Fabs & Fabricator Fitter Welders working on the fabrication from engineering drawings & welding angle, box, tube to high spec finish.
- Welders TIG mainly working on welding sheet metal 1.5 - 4 mm stainless or mild steel, aluminium, mild steel angle, box ideally able to weld pipe & tube with TIG or MIG.
- Semi-skilled applicants can apply if they can cover most of the work depending on their skill set.
- Working mainly in the Fab Shop; some workers may be asked to help out when really busy on installation work on factories/process plants.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Able to fabricate & weld with TIG mainly & some MIG depending on skills levels, or weld with MIG and some TIG.
- Ideally C & G or NVQ Welding Fabrication or Sheet Metalwork.
- Ideally able to use Tube Bending Machine & Press Brake & other Workshop Machinery & Tools.
Hours & Contract:
- Hours = 0730 to 1600 or 1730, 40 to 48 or up to 55 + hours Mon to Fri as required.
- Also 0600 or 0700 to 1330 Sat as required.
- Term = Temp Contract 6 to 13 weeks & Contract Temp to Perm 13 - 26 weeks with good chance of perm role after 13 or 26 full weeks.
- Perm = May be some direct perm roles if the applicant is working and has to give notice.
Pay:
- Temp Contract = £24 + per hr up to 60 hrs, £29 + per hr Sat depending on Skills/Quals.
