Fulcrum Engineering & Technical are acting as an Employment Business on behalf of our Clients. We are recruiting personnel at all levels and covering similar Welding Fabrication roles depending on applicants' skill sets & experience.

  • Coded Spec Pipe TIG - MMA Welders
  • Coded Spec Pipe MMA - MIG FCAW Welders
  • Coded Spec Plater MIG, MMA, MIG FCAW Welders
  • Pipe Fitter Fabs & Pipe Fitter Welders

Working on the fabrication of pipe spools and erecting & fitting work as required. Coded Spec Pipe Welders will be welding pipework to coded specs with TIG or MMA, plus welding frames, supports, brackets. Coded Spec Plater Welders will mainly work on the fabrication of plate & steel vessels, tanks, silos, welding to coded specs with MIG FCAW or MMA. Fabricator Welders will be more involved with fabrication work plus higher spec welding work with TIG. Sheet Metal Fabricator Welders & Welder Fabs will work on the fabrication from engineering drawings & welding angle, box, tube to high spec finish. Welders TIG will mainly work on welding sheet metal 1.5 - 4 mm stainless or mild steel, aluminium, mild steel angle, box, tube with TIG or MIG. Semi-skilled applicants can apply if they can cover most of the work depending on their skill set.

Qualifications & Skills

Quals/Skills = Able to fabricate & weld with TIG mainly & some MIG, or weld with MIG and some TIG or MIG FCAW & MMA depending on the worker's skill set. C & G or NVQ Welding Fabrication or Plating or Sheet Metalwork or Pipe Fitting. Ideally CSCS Card or CCNSG Safety Passport and ideally Confined Space Cert. Ideally current Weld Certs.

Hours & Term

Hours = 0700 – 1600 or 1730 + 40 to 55 hours Mon to Fri, possible work 0600 – 1700 or 0700 - 1800 as required. Also 0600 or 0700 to 1330 Sat as required.

Term = Temp to Perm 13 weeks with a good chance of a perm role after 13 full weeks. Perm = May be some direct perm roles if the applicant is working and has to give notice.

Pay

Pay Temp = £27 + per hr basic 55 hrs + £32 + hr Sat via Payment Company on CIS Basis depending on Skills/Quals.
