We are currently recruiting personnel at all levels in the Fakenham & Kings Lynn, Wisbech, Thetford, Norwich areas, who are qualified/skilled/experienced as follows:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Fabricator MIG working on architectural metalwork & structural steel work mainly.
  • Fabrication of sheet metal, steel work, plate, angle & box.
  • Welding to high specifications with MIG mainly and ideally some TIG on carbon, aluminium, stainless.
  • Working from engineering drawings in the Fab Shop plus some site work as required to erect/fit work.
  • Steel Erector/Fitter working on projects erecting steel work & architectural steel work.
  • Working on staircases, handrails, work platforms, frames etc.
  • Some fabrication & modifications as required. Ideally able to weld.
  • Semi-skilled or mates considered to cover and assist with this type of work.
  • Work will be in a 50-mile radius ideally. However, depending on workload, workers must be OK to work on sites further away which will involve staying overnight near to site for 1-4 nights as required in hotel rooms with meal allowances booked/paid by the company.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • C & G or NVQ Steel Erection or Welding Fabrication.
  • CSCS Card & ideally IPAF or MEWP Card - UK Driving Licence.

Hours: 07:30 to 16:30 Mon to Fri + OT as required. Often work 07:00 to 17:30.

Term: 6 to 13 weeks. This role is temporary to start but with a view that after 13 weeks there could be a permanent role offered.

Pay: Depending on experience, skills, qualifications from Skilled £19.50 to £22.00+ per hour. Semi-skilled £14.50 to £16.00 per hour. Pay on a temporary basis via pay company. Permanent Roles: Might be the offer of a permanent role if the applicant is working and needs to give notice. Pay Skilled £16.50 to £18+ per hour PAYE basic hours.
