We are currently recruiting personnel at all levels in the Watton, Thetford, and Mildenhall areas who are qualified, skilled, or experienced. We are looking for candidates for the following roles:
- CNC Press Brake Setter Operator Fabricator: Responsible for setting CNC press machines to produce parts in sheet metal, metal frames, etc. Must be able to set and operate machines, with programming skills preferred. Check work to ensure it meets strict QC specifications. Assist CNC operators and provide advice. Skills with CNC Amada & Trumpf machines are ideal.
- CNC Turret Punch Setter Operator: Responsible for setting CNC punch machines to produce parts in sheet metal, metal frames, etc. Must be able to set and operate machines, with programming skills preferred. Check work for QC compliance. Skills with CNC Amada & Trumpf machines are ideal.
- CNC Operator Fabricator: Operates CNC press, saw, or laser machines to produce parts in sheet metal and frames.
- Fabricator Welder: Works on structural jobs from drawings, fabricating frames and supports. High-spec MIG welding experience is required.
- Fabricators: Measure, mark out, cut, and prep metal boxes, tubes, angles, and frames for specialized work. Use gas cutters, saws, grinders, and drills.
- Semi-Skilled Fabricators: Cut, prep, grind, and polish metal components. Assist other fabricators and sheet metal workers as needed.
- Sheet Metal Workers: Measure, mark out, cut, and prep sheet metal frames. Proficiency with guillotines, saws, and presses is required.
Key qualifications or certifications should ideally include C&G or NVQ in Engineering, Sheet Metal Work, or Welding & Fabrication. Experience with CNC machinery, especially Amada & Trumpf, is preferred. Pay rates are approximately GBP 14 to GBP 16+ per hour plus overtime, depending on skills and qualifications.
