We are recruiting 2 highly ambitious and qualified Senior Residential Youth Workers to join our client's successful and experienced staff team at a children’s residential care home in Nottingham. Candidates should ideally have at least 6 months' experience in a similar setting and possess a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or a qualification of equivalent or higher standing.
You will work with young people aged 11 to 18 who are in the care system for various reasons and have diverse needs, including disorders and behavioural challenges. We seek individuals with confidence, understanding, patience, and skills to positively impact their lives.
This role involves providing guidance, interaction, and support to children and young adults to create a safe environment addressing their intellectual, spiritual, social, and emotional needs. Responsibilities include supporting children with daily tasks such as meal preparation, social activities, family contacts, education, and shopping.
We are looking for positive role models who are flexible, reliable, and proactive within a specialist environment. Applicants must complete an enhanced DBS check as part of the recruitment process and attend a paid five-day training program.
