Senior Residential Worker

We are recruiting 2 highly ambitious and qualified Senior Residential Youth Workers to join our client\’s successful and experienced staff team in a children’s residential care home.

Candidates should ideally have at least 6 months\’ experience in a similar setting and possess a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or an equivalent qualification of similar or higher standing.

You will work with young people aged 11 to 18 who are in the care system for various reasons and have diverse needs, including disorders and behavioral challenges. We seek individuals with confidence, understanding, patience, and skills to work effectively with young people and positively impact their lives.

This position involves providing guidance, interaction, and support to children and young adults, aiming to create a safe environment that addresses their intellectual, spiritual, social, and emotional needs.

You will be part of a team supporting children and young people throughout the day with tasks such as meal preparation, social activities, family contacts, education, and shopping.

We are looking for positive role models who are flexible, reliable, and interactive, eager to work in a specialist environment.

Applicants must complete an enhanced DBS check as part of the recruitment process and attend a paid five-day training program.

The role involves a 38-hour week, including sleep-in duties and occasional weekend shifts.
