Fulbridge Social Care is recruiting both experienced and non-experienced SEN Support Workers to join our casual team in educational settings. We are seeking flexible, reliable, and interactive individuals who want to work in a specialist environment where full training and qualifications are provided.
The position involves providing security, guidance, interaction, and support to young people with challenging behaviour and complex needs, aiming to create an environment that caters to their intellectual, spiritual, social, and emotional needs.
You will work with young people aged 11 to 18 who are in the care system for various reasons, with diverse disorders, behaviours, and needs. Candidates should have the confidence, patience, and skills to work successfully with these young people and positively impact their lives.
Please note that you will need to complete an enhanced DBS check with Fulbridge Social Care and successfully complete one of our induction programmes before placements are offered.

Main duties and responsibilities:
- Build strong professional relationships with service users and staff
- Maintain a safe, clean, and enjoyable environment for young people and staff
- Keep up to date with all communication and information systems
- Attend and participate in meetings
- Support young people in managing their behaviour using approved skills
- Promote equality and acknowledge individual differences
- Protect service users from abuse by staff, visitors, or other service users
- Write accurate reports and maintain records for monitoring
- Attend all training sessions and achieve relevant qualifications
- Attend work reliably and punctually following a set shift pattern
- Stay updated with procedures and policy changes
- Ensure health and safety of yourself and others
- Undertake additional duties relevant to the role
