Fulbridge Social Care is recruiting Experienced and Trainee Residential Youth Workers to join our casual team. The role involves working in children’s residential homes and Independent Living settings. We seek flexible, reliable, and interactive individuals eager to work in a specialized environment with full training and qualifications provided.

The position involves providing security, guidance, interaction, and support to young people with challenging behaviour and complex needs, aiming to create an environment catering to their intellectual, spiritual, social, and emotional needs. You will work with young people aged 11 to 18 who are in the care system for various reasons, with diverse disorders, behaviours, and needs. Candidates should have the confidence, patience, and skills to work successfully with these young people and positively impact their lives.

Responsibilities include supporting young people throughout the day with tasks such as meal preparation, cleaning, education, and shopping. You will also interact with professionals like Social Workers, Probation Officers, and Police Officers, supporting young people in environments such as classrooms, courts, and police stations.

A valid driving licence is essential, as you will be required to drive the unit car and transport young people to destinations like family contacts, school, and social activities. Please note that successful candidates must complete an enhanced DBS check with Fulbridge Social Care and pass an induction programme before placements are offered.
