Overview

Fulbridge Social Care are specialist care agency with over 25 years\’ combined experience at the forefront of providing the very best staff to the Care sector nationwide.

Successful candidates will be working in specialised settings supporting and promoting self-sufficiency of both adults and children, either in their own homes, a residential setting, or a supported living service, depending on their care needs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day assistance and personal care as outlined in each service user’s care plan.
  • Plan activities and advocate for personal wellbeing and independence.
  • Support individuals from diverse backgrounds with learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, physical disabilities, challenging behaviours, acquired brain injuries and psychological disorders.
  • Promote the rights of service users as individuals and work cohesively with core staff, other agencies and medical professionals.
  • Adapt care approaches to meet unique needs of each service user and ensure quality of care in various settings.
  • Contribute to a caring, supportive environment and help service users make positive day-to-day progress.

What we offer

  • Flexible hours/days to work around current commitments.
  • Typical shifts are 2pm – 10pm, 7am – 10pm, 8am + sleep, or nights 10pm – 8am. Shifts vary depending on the needs of the homes.
  • Weekly pay.
  • Full accredited training and qualifications are offered to successful candidates.
  • Successful candidates will be required to obtain an enhanced DBS unless you already have a current portable one.

  • Willingness to work with individuals with learning disabilities, ASD, physical disabilities, challenging behaviours, acquired brain injuries and psychological disorders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with families, staff and professionals; commitment to person-centred care and rights of service users.
