An exciting opportunity has arisen for an EYFS Class Teacher to join Fulbridge Academy, as we continue to develop and expand our Early Years provision, including a dedicated EYFS facility designed to nurture curiosity, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning in our youngest children. At Fulbridge Academy, our overriding aim is to improve the lives of children by enabling them to enjoy learning and fulfil their potential. We are committed to developing resilient, curious learners with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes they need to succeed both in school and beyond.

About Us

Fulbridge Academy is a research-informed school with a strong moral purpose that underpins everything we do. We believe that:

  • our curriculum must be fit for purpose and meet the needs of our community
  • our pedagogy should give every child the very best opportunity to succeed
  • staff wellbeing, work-life balance, and ongoing professional development matter

Our curriculum is knowledge-rich, thoughtfully sequenced, and informed by evidence-based practice. In EYFS, this is reflected through a strong focus on early language development, purposeful continuous provision, and meaningful adult interactions that support children to build secure foundations for learning and wellbeing.

The Role

We are seeking a passionate and reflective EYFS practitioner who is committed to delivering high-quality early years education. The successful candidate will play an important role in shaping and developing our EYFS provision as it continues to grow. You will have a secure understanding of early childhood education and value nurturing relationships, consistent routines, and inclusive practice. Working closely with colleagues, you will help create a safe, engaging, and stimulating learning environment where all children feel supported and able to thrive.

We are looking for someone who:

  • has a strong understanding of the EYFS framework, child development, and play-based learning
  • is reflective and open to professional development, engaging positively with research, coaching, and CPD
  • works collaboratively and contributes to a supportive staff culture
  • builds strong, positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • is organised, consistent, and thoughtful, with high expectations for children and themselves

What can we offer?

  • A friendly, supportive staff team and an approachable leadership team
  • Timetabled PPA alongside additional planning days to support high-quality planning
  • A strong focus on staff wellbeing and work-life balance
  • A 1:1 coaching programme to support professional growth and reflective practice
  • A carefully considered CPD offer aligned to individual and school priorities
  • A research-informed approach to teaching and learning, grounded in evidence-based practice
  • A commitment to reducing unnecessary workload and administration
  • Enthusiastic, well-behaved children who are eager to learn
  • Opportunities for career development and progression within the school

The role is full time, however, part time would be considered. Main Scale pay. Actual salary will be dependent on the number of hours and days worked. Start dates April 2026 or September 2026 start.
