We are looking for an Associate Technical Service Engineer to join our 3rd line infrastructure engineering team. Your role will involve working within a very dynamic operations team who support Linux, storage, virtualisation and backup environments. The role requires a self-motivated person who will be energised learning the vast array of different technologies. You will need strong inter-personal skills and be able to communicate effectively with people at all levels. This team is working with a customer who is embarking on a major technical refresh so there will be plenty of challenges and opportunities to learn for the right person.
Your Transferable Skills and Experience
- Good technical knowledge and understanding of server infrastructure and operating systems
- Be able to demonstrate applying your knowledge in a technical support environment
- Proven track record of engagement in change and project implementation
- Proven record of Incident/Problem/Change Management
You must be willing and eligible to undergo required Clearance for this position. Note: This position is based in Belfast due to the proximity to the DCs. This is a hybrid role, the person appointed will initially be expected to attend the office to support training.
