We are looking for a self-motivated Senior Test Specialist to join our existing dynamic Test Practice. You may lead a team of Testers and will work closely with all project stakeholders. Working alongside a team of dedicated professionals, you will be driven to find better, faster, more effective ways of testing and adding value to the projects you are working on. You will lead by example and work to develop your team and emerging talent to strengthen the Test Practice and build our reputation as a centre of excellence. This is a fast-paced environment where you will have the chance to grow and build upon your existing knowledge and ability.
Your experience:
- Understanding the Software Development and Testing Lifecycles
- Understanding of and experience with multiple delivery methodologies such as Agile, V-Model & Waterfall
- Experience of testing both Infrastructure and Applications
- Experience of identifying test data and creating test cases in response to clearly defined requirements, including the creation of test cases in areas of technical testing specialism for both manual and automated testing
- Experience of executing test cases and recording test results in accordance with established test plan(s), including the execution of test cases in areas of technical testing specialism
- Experience of defect logging, investigation, and support
- Experience of collecting test-related metrics
- Experience in organizing test materials, environments, tools, and resources required to deliver the planned testing activities and coordination of the delivery of testing against the schedule, reporting test progress, risks, and test incidents
- Creation of high-quality test plan documents on small to medium projects or discrete pieces of work that address the requirements and mitigate the risks of the solution under test
- Accountable for the deliverables of the test team for a small project to agreed schedule
- Understands the requirements for testing within the project and agrees on testing scope with stakeholders
- Experience in writing Test scripts, Test Reports, and Defect Management and Reporting requirements
- Experience using SOAP UI, XML, Jenkins, JIRA
