Fujitsu is a world-wide leading technology company with operations in countries including the United Kingdom, Germany and several other European countries. Fujitsu Services Limited (UK) is seeking a compliance and investigations specialist to implement the corporate compliance program in coordination with other Fujitsu group companies within Europe. The position will be responsible for maintaining, enhancing and implementing Fujitsu’s corporate compliance program, and conducting corporate investigations, primarily for Fujitsu group companies in Europe. The main areas of compliance coverage are anti-bribery/corruption, fraud and antitrust. The role will report to the Head of Compliance, Europe or its then equivalent and will collaborate with Fujitsu’s compliance professionals in other regions as well as with other cross-functional stakeholders to advise company leadership on compliance risk management.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigations
- Respond promptly to issues raised through Fujitsu's compliance reporting systems, triaging cases and assigning to relevant teams where appropriate.
- Plan and conduct compliance investigations, primarily across European entities, covering anti-bribery and corruption, fraud, and antitrust matters.
- Collaborate with HR, Legal, outside counsel, and other internal and external stakeholders throughout the investigations process.
- Prepare clear, well-structured investigation reports and recommendations for senior leadership.
- Maintain, enhance, and implement Fujitsu's corporate compliance policies, procedures, and programmes across Europe.
- Review and update compliance-related policies in line with regulatory developments and business needs.
- Help to deliver compliance training to employees across European entities, ensuring content is engaging, up to date, and aligned to key risk areas.
- Monitor key legal and regulatory developments across relevant jurisdictions and assess impact on the compliance programme.
- Document all compliance activities, processes, and programme outputs to a high standard.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience & Knowledge
- Completed law degree.
- Proven experience in a compliance/investigations role.
- Strong knowledge of anti-bribery and corruption laws (including the UK Bribery Act and equivalent legislation), fraud, and antitrust/competition law.
- Strong experience conducting or supporting internal investigations (including witness interviews, document review, and preparing investigation reports).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills - able to convey complex legal and compliance matters clearly and concisely.
- High level of integrity, discretion, and professional judgement.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English is essential.
- Additional European language(s) are an advantage.
