Infrastructure Architect

Location: Bracknell – minimum 2 days a week on site. May also attend Stevenage office, and on occasions Customer Sites for meetings and workshops.

Your role

As an infrastructure architect you will be expected to provide architectural leadership for end‑to‑end solutions as part of the project, ensuring seamless integration or project activities with existing running services. You will lead solution architecture across the full implementation lifecycle and validate and assess changes against in‑service systems to prevent unauthorised implementations. You will conduct deep‑dive investigations, own remediations, and manage a varied workload to deliver on all levels of management.

Your Experience

  • End to end solution architecture (troubleshooting and developing designs whilst whole solution impacting within the design/implementation)
  • Wintel generalist with application architecture knowledge
  • Good understanding of Linux systems (automation an advantage)
  • Familiarity with virtualisation platforms (VMware preferred, others acceptable)
  • NetApp storage experience: SAN/NAS, snapshots, replication
  • Good understanding of networking and firewalls
  • Ability to deep‑dive on investigations to steer remediations
