We are looking for a Technical Service Engineer (Senior) to join one of our 3rd line infrastructure engineering teams. Your role will involve working within a very dynamic operations team who support Linux, storage, virtualisation and backup environments. The role requires a self-motivated person, with strong inter-personal skills, who can communicate effectively with people at all levels. This team is working with a long-standing client who is embarking on a major technical refresh.
Your Transferable Skills and Experience
- Extensive experience supporting Linux or Unix
- Proven record of leading Major Incident/Problem/Change Management
- Proven ability as an SME in a range of systems
- Experience of working within medium/large sized project transitions
- Experience in managing relationships with key internal and external technical stakeholders
You must be willing and eligible to undergo required clearance for this position. Note: This position is based in Belfast due to the proximity to the DCs. This is a hybrid role, the person appointed will initially be expected to attend the office to support training.
