Location: Hybrid / Remote plus onsite as required - Likely locations London, Stevenage, Bracknell & Birmingham with occasional international travel.

The Data Centre Strategy & Offering Manager is a critical role within the UK Technology Group. It is responsible for driving the successful development, integration, and enablement of Fujitsu’s global & local portfolio within the UK market for Data Centres as part of the Fujitsu UK Sovereign strategy. This position will develop the strategy, vision, roadmap and offerings related to Fujitsu UK Data Centres and links to Fujitsu’s wider portfolio while leading local go to market, offering creation, and delivery of key performance indicators for Data Centres.

As the Data Centre Strategy & Offering Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our UK organization and ensuring our growth in the short, medium and long term to deliver our vision of becoming the UK leader in Sovereign solution and driving our Data Centre business.

Scope of Role:

  • The Data Centre Strategy & Offering Manager will be accountable for the definition and execution of the UK strategy and vision for Fujitsu’s UK Data Centre.
  • The scope of the role covers:
    • Definition of the UK Strategy and Vision for Data Centres
    • Development of the UK Data Centre Value Proposition
    • Creation of or linkage to offerings that will drive demand for UK Data Centres
    • Planning and execution of required transformation for UK Data Centre estate

You will work closely with the Uvance, European and other Fujitsu portfolios to ensure that Fujitsu UK has a coherent market leading portfolio for Data Centres that supports the UK business in realising its vision to become the UK leader in Sovereign Advanced Compute and Quantum.

As Data Centre Strategy and Offerings Manager you will provide leadership and management to the portfolio for your area to deliver on your vision and strategy ensuring our Data Centre offerings meet evolving customer needs and deliver business value. You will work cross-functionally to innovate, optimise, and grow our portfolio, supporting Fujitsu’s purpose of building trust in society through technology and engage with Market Analysts, Partners and Vendors as Fujitsu’s recognised expert.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Centre Strategy & Vision: Own the vision and strategy for the UK Data Centres to realise the UK Portfolio vision of being a leader in sovereign services aligned to the overall UK Portfolio strategy.
  • Data Centre Offering Development: Lead the development of a compelling Data Centre offering that is driven by demand from the wider portfolio. The Data Centre is positioned as an enabler of these portfolio needs, rather than a direct GTM offering.
  • Local Offering Management: Oversee the lifecycle and roadmap for UK Data Centre offering ensuring they align to demand generated by other offerings and deliver clear desirability, business value and technical feasibility, from concept through to retirement.
  • Stakeholder management: Management of the stakeholder landscape for portfolio including global, Europe, and Partners for Data Centres.
  • Market Readiness & Operationalization: Ensure the UK sales and delivery teams are enabled to sell and deliver relevant Portfolio offerings.
  • Marketing & Promotion: Lead internal and external promotion of offerings, collaborating with marketing, sales and analysts.

Strong leadership, influencing and strategic thinking skills to develop offerings that support long-term business growth. Effective people management skills to build and motivate virtual and line-managed teams. Expertise in portfolio management, product lifecycle management, go to market development and market enablement. Deep understanding of Data Centres and the future for this domain for AI, HPC, and Quantum. Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities and an ability to navigate complex, matrixed environments and drive cross-functional collaboration. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a results-driven approach.

  • Extensive experience in Data Centre strategy and offering development for a global service integrator or data centre specialist organisation.
  • Proven track record in leading initiatives within a large organization.
  • Background in Data Centre solutions is highly desirable.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to translate strategy into execution.
  • Experience working in a multinational or global enterprise environment.
