Responsible for cyber security monitoring, initial triage of potential security incidents, and validation of engineer and user activity for compliance and insider threat mitigation. Desired qualities include diligence, interest in cyber security, respect for process. Proven technical skills in one or more enterprise disciplines (e.g. networking, servers) are an advantage. No security experience necessary.
Location: Bracknell – Fully on site. This role is shift based. Our purpose is to make the world more sustainable by building trust in society through innovation. As a Security Operator you will contribute to this by providing active cyber security monitoring of the network and management infrastructure. Your role will involve monitoring the core infrastructure of a large network in order to detect and highlight potential cyber security breaches.
Working as part of an on-site 24x7 shift team under the supervision of a Tier 1 Cyber Security Analyst, you will contribute to maintaining the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our customer’s services by responding to security alarms, determining the cause, and escalating accordingly.
