Northern Ireland Account Chief Technology Architect

Your role
We are looking for an account Chief Technical Architect to become a trusted advisor to our public sector customers and the technical figurehead for our delivery team. In this pivotal role, you'll solve critical customer challenges through innovative technology solutions, providing insightful thought leadership, crafting strategic roadmaps, and driving impactful innovation. As a key member of our Northern Ireland leadership team within our public sector business, you'll be instrumental in shaping our future success.
You will possess a deep understanding of the Northern Ireland political landscape and confidently engage with senior members of the Northern Ireland Executive and associated departments. Your exceptional communication skills will enable you to articulate complex technical concepts effectively to audiences of all levels. Cultivating strong relationships with senior technical and digital stakeholders within our customer organisations, you will position Fujitsu as the go-to digital partner, capable of tackling their most pressing business challenges.
What you'll do:
- Shape the Future: Develop and execute a compelling technology vision for our clients, crafting winning proposals, owning strategic roadmaps, collaborating with key partners, and nurturing strong relationships with senior IT and business representatives.
Champion Technical Excellence: Serve as the recognized technical authority for Fujitsu in Northern Ireland, safeguarding both Fujitsu and our customers through robust solutions and pre-sales governance. You'll lead a matrix team of architects, acting as the technology figurehead for project and service delivery teams.

Creating and Executing a Vision:
- Stakeholder Relationships: Cultivate and maintain trusted relationships with key decision-makers at the CDIO and CTO levels, ensuring effective communication and seamless strategy implementation.
Innovation Driver: Bring fresh perspectives and innovative solutions to address our customers' most pressing business challenges, leveraging cutting-edge techniques and approaches.
Industry Leadership: Establish a strong presence in the broader industry, positioning Fujitsu favourably through thought leadership content relevant to technology and Northern Ireland. Present at public industry events, contribute to blogs, and maintain an active social media presence.
Collaborative Spirit: Engage with other technology champions within the public sector and across Fujitsu, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing, learning from successes, and applying lessons learned.
Customer Advocate: Apply a deep understanding of the Northern Ireland market and customer challenges to Fujitsu's digital technology capabilities. Bring energy and passion, identifying opportunities to deliver exceptional value.
Roadmap Ownership: Create and own a comprehensive digital roadmap, understanding our customers' needs and positioning Fujitsu's capabilities to address them, aligning with our global Uvance and local UK offerings.
Proposal Development: Collaborate with Business Development and Sales colleagues to craft compelling propositions and pitch innovative ideas, demonstrating how Fujitsu's solutions can effectively support our customers.
Thought Leadership: Serve as a trusted advisor and respected figurehead for Fujitsu colleagues, customer stakeholders, and industry analysts.
Maintaining Technical Excellence:
- Governance Advocate: Provide technical approval at governance gates, ensuring the integrity and security of customer environments and safeguarding Fujitsu's relationships.
Product Advocate: Provide feedback and requirements to the UK and Uvance portfolios, understanding their direction to inform customer strategies and offers.
People Development: Mentor and guide technologists through direct or matrix management, fostering their growth and development.
Solution Enablement: Provide technical oversight and coaching to ensure pre-sales, and delivery activities are aligned with strategy and customer needs.
Strategic Partnerships: Engage with partners to understand their technical capabilities and position them effectively within the Northern Ireland market.
Your experience
You will have successfully guided architecture teams in customer-facing roles, fostering collaboration across multiple technology domains Artificial Intelligence, Applications, Data, Hybrid IT, and Digital Workplace.
You will be comfortable in a customer-facing technology leadership role and have a passion for fixing business problems with innovative technology solutions.
