Third Line Shared Service Support Engineer (SD-WAN)

Your role
We are seeking a 3rd Line Shared Service Support Network Engineer (SD-WAN) to work collaboratively across our accounts within the SD-WAN shared service. Your responsibilities include providing direct technical support for SD-WAN services as part of the 3rd Line Team, assisting in daily operations, and understanding the products used across the shared service. You will also develop your diagnostic skills and capabilities.
- Network Monitoring & Event management via Orchestrator tools
- Detailed investigation and diagnostics
- Create workarounds, solutions, and mitigations for issues
- Escalate complex issues to product manufacturers
- Handle escalated customer fault reports and technical inquiries, analyzing and investigating support solutions
- Perform remote diagnostic tests to aid fault rectification
- Ensure all work complies with quality standards and ISO9000
- Pre-configure equipment for customer installation
- Implement approved configuration changes
- Assist in collating performance and availability data
- Test and develop within pre-production environments and oversee rollouts to production
Your experience
- Experience in a 3rd NOC support environment
- Networking SME
- Knowledge of MS Service Center Support tool, SD-WAN, Cisco Viptela, and Juniper Routers
- Thorough knowledge of Cisco/Juniper network technologies
- Support experience in WAN environments, including IP, routing, SD-WAN solutions, Cisco Viptela, encryption, and edge virtualization (VMWare or Adva)
