Job Description
Location: Basingstoke – Customer Site (5 Days)
Shift Working: Weekly rotating pattern (0700 – 1500 and 1100 – 1900)
Your Role
As a 3rd Line Cloud Network Engineer you will deliver value for our customers by exploring new technologies within a dynamic team that values collaboration and constantly evolving environment.
Responsibilities include carrying out planned activities via a Change Management Process, monitoring the system using Event Management tooling, responding to incidents via the Incident Process, including triage of incidents and escalation via the Service Management Team.
- Responding to escalations from 2nd Line Daily checks utilising ITSM tooling.
- PKI certificate management for networking devices (physical and virtual).
- Distribute software, firmware & security updates for network devices.
- Collaborate and support the design and engineering teams.
- Maintain and support the virtual and physical network solution, providing timely updates to the Operations Lead.
- Carry out readiness assessment for new releases entering service from the Engineering Team.
- Produce and maintain documentation such as Work Instructions and Patching Schedules.
The applicant must be DV Cleared and have sole national 3rd Line Cloud Network Engineer qualifications for a high level government account.
