2nd Line System Administrator

Basingstoke – 5 Days Customer Site

Shift Working (0andon a Weekly Rotating Pattern)

As an 2nd Line System Administrator you will deliver value for our customers by exploring new technologies within a team that values collaboration and constantly changing dynamic environment to build a better service.

Your role will involve

We are looking for a 2nd Line System Administrator to join a small dynamic team of 2nd and 3rd Line engineers. Your role will involve monitoring the system using Event Management tooling and responding to incidents via the Incident Process including triage of incidents and escalation via the Service Management Team. Examples of tasks

• Monitoring ITSM for Incidents
• Monitoring of Mailbox

Execution of Daily checks escalating issues to 3rd Line

The applicant must be DV Cleared sole national 2nd Line System Administrator required for high level government account.

Key skills and experience

• ITSM Tooling & Processes
• Effective Communication

Your transferable skills and experience

• Event Management Tooling (e.g. SCOM SolarWinds) – Use of not Administration
• VMware vCenter – Use of not Administration
