You will provide a co-ordinated planned approach to Operational Security within the project, providing timely and pragmatic advice to internal stakeholders to ensure programme compliance with Fujitsu security policy and external stakeholders in accordance with mandated policies and procedures. Maintains communication with the Security System Officers (SSO’s) and Security Assurance Manager for all security related matters. The LSA contributes and works pragmatically to companywide processes, standards, procedures, and work instructions. Contributes to reviews to ensure standards are being adopted. They ensure that any activities, processes, and standards that can be planned and measured are undertaken to deliver the security requirements of the programme. The LSA is responsible for complying with the Fujitsu Security Policies and appropriate customer publications, delivering applicable security advice and support to the project, and delivering security support activities to ensure business value and cost effectiveness is achieved. Operational security is defined as, but not limited to, any activity which involves the delivery of standards and policies for implementation across the project.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct regular daily monitoring of the SIEM, escalating to SSO, SAM and Ops Manager as appropriate.
- Manage security incidents using tickets, escalating to SSO, SAM as appropriate.
- Ensure security alerts and incidents are captured and appropriate action is taken in accordance with Fujitsu policies including the raising escalations.
- Support PKI including revocation and certificate renewal.
- Conduct password, passphrase, shared secret changes when required.
- Ensure continued compliance to Security Operating Procedures (SyOPs) and LSI’s.
- Testing and Auditing of WI’s prior to being sent out to live service.
- Carry out Smart card administration.
- Conduct IMPEX duties.
- Manage Elevation of Privileges (EOR) requests from engineering personnel.
- Liaise with SME's on the lifecycle of SY Obs in conjunction with the Project SAM.
- Support TSB/OOH call out to triage and assist with unexpected alerts within the SIEM.
SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE
- Demonstrable security experience within a secure environment.
- Demonstrable experience of conducting technical system monitoring and audits e.g., using Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tooling or other elevated access privileges.
- Detailed understanding and experience of delivering security in accordance with HMG regulations.
- Possess Orange security clearance.
- Sound and detailed knowledge of IT, Operational, Personnel security procedures and policies.
- Broad, demonstrable experience and understanding of working with stakeholders in a customer facing role concerning large, complex secure programmes.
- Detailed knowledge of protective security covering all aspects of physical, information and technical security.
- Good knowledge of legislation affecting security matters and their application (e.g., The Official Secrets Act, Data Protection Act, etc).
This role will require you to be willing and able to undergo a high level of security clearance. The role holder will initially focus their time on the following areas:

- Able to plan and prioritise own workload to meet programme.
- Able to operate under pressure.
- Good computer literacy, email, MS Office, and other relevant software packages.
- Willing to travel and the ability to be mobile.
