Your Role

We are looking for a mobile Engineer to work as part of our Enterprise & Project Service team. Our Engineers support Customer Hardware across a host of vendor technologies including Fujitsu, Juniper, HP, Cisco, Meraki, Brocade, Dell, and NetApp among others. The role will involve the Break-Fix, Installation, Moves, and Changes of customer IT systems; knowledge of Storage Solutions would be advantageous. This involves daily travel across the North with a vehicle provided as well.

Your experience

  • An important part of the role is the daily interaction with end-users, support teams, project managers, and service managers, liaising with other parts of the organization to ensure customer satisfaction and team targets are met.
  • We seek a team player who can apply their extensive knowledge, use common sense and not be afraid to identify and call out risks and provide solutions.
  • A knowledge of network LAN/WAN and Wi-Fi technology – accreditations preferable although training provided.
  • Readily take ownership & responsibility.
  • Ability to work alone and an enthusiastic team player.
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work whilst under pressure.
  • Attention to detail when planning and progressing daily workload.
  • Full driving license.
