Your role will involve direct technical support working on Juniper SRX and EX devices, with support from the 2nd Line team working alongside you. The engineer will also work with the current support personnel to understand the products and their use across the shared service and to develop their diagnostic skills/capability.

Core Skills
  • General Firewall build, configuration, and troubleshooting experience.
  • General switch build, configuration, and troubleshooting experience.
  • Juniper Zone Based firewalls.
  • Knowledge of application protocols.
  • Knowledge of IDS/IPS and Content filtering.
  • Knowledge/experience of High Availability solutions.
  • Routing experience.
  • Incident management, problem and Change management.
  • Ability to interpret design documentation and define rulesets according to design.
  • Knowledge sharing and training peers.
  • Collaborative working approaches.
Desirable Skills
  • Cisco ASA firewalls.
  • Cisco ISE.
  • Microsoft Certificate Authority.
  • Patching and Cabling.
