About the role:
To proactively develop regional sales in the UK for Telecom products - Fujikura splicer and Test & Measurement equipment – alongside speciality splicing products. Seek to understand any changes in the current market and the activity of competitors, reporting accordingly to the management team. Working with positive energy and a good team spirit to maximise efficiency and increase sales. Significant internal and external relationships.
Main responsibilities include:
- To proactively develop regional UK sales for FSD Telecom splicing products including AFL Test, Measurement and Inspection products.
- To provide timely activity and sales reports for responsibility.
- To support fusion splicing seminar day as & when required.
- To provide back up support to UK and European business as and when required.
- To support UK & Overseas exhibition, conference, seminar as & when required including EU distributors seminar.
- To pro-actively identify as many customers as possible in said region and visit ‘key’ customers on a regular basis.
- To build an understanding of the client’s projects, networks and build ‘relationship’ with client to obtain information – not just visit to demo product.
- To support any work required for tenders.
- To provide or help prepare presentation material to customer, FEL or FJK as & when required.
- To attend any associated meeting.
