The Role:
As a Field Service Engineer , you will be responsible for installations, training users, service and maintenance of the complete range of equipment and software supplied by Fujifilm Graphic Systems to customers based in the UK from both helpdesk and hands on perspective. Manage service agents and maintain a high level of knowledge and standards.
Person Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical equipment within in the Print on Demand (POD) print industry.
- Hold a mechanical or electrical engineering qualification, or equivalent qualification.
- Strong customer management and communication skills with an excellent telephone manner.
- Ability to work under pressure and understand the need to adapt and be flexible to suit business needs.
- Confident and able to use initiative with high levels of motivation, drive, and enthusiasm.
- Ability to work autonomously and to build strong working relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Full UK driving licence. Willingness to travel/stay away overnight.
- Attend high level training courses and be able to cascade that training on a local level.
- Attend escalations and liaise with 2nd level support.
