What\'s the Role :

We\'re looking for a Corporate Communications Executive to join our growing Corporate Communications team. Perfect for a recent graduate or someone looking for their next step in their career, this new role, within a small but agile team, will support a broad mix of external and internal projects - with a focus on corporate brand storytelling to our various audiences and stakeholders.

Location :

We’re a global organisation, and this role will be based

in our UK headquarters in Bedford, working with teams on the ground across the UK and Ireland - whether it’s in photography or print, healthcare or industry.

What you will be responsible for :

  • Assist in the delivery of UK Corporate campaigns and activities with external partners – such as charities on a national level.
  • Develop press releases and media kits to support external storytelling.
  • Regular reporting and analysis of external communications projects and press activity
  • Develop and optimise a content plan for Fujifilm UK’s corporate online presence (i.e. LinkedIn and website).
  • Assist the UK Corporate Communications team to maintain strong relationships with key external stakeholders, including local media and government bodies.
  • Support the coordination of events, exhibitions and seminars.
  • Oversee the creation and production of content for both external and internal use, across literature, artwork, presentations and video – utilising design skills and/or working.

Required

  • Educated to degree level (or equivalent education or experience)
  • Strong writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • A creative flair and ability to think outside the box.
  • Highly organised with excellent time management.
  • Confident working in a small team.
  • A motivated self-starter with a flexible and positive “can do” attitude.
  • Excellent networking and interpersonal skills.
  • Confidence in interacting with management and abilities to communicate at all levels of the company to effectively seek out stories across all teams and business areas.
  • An instinct for what great communication looks like.
  • Familiarity with Office 365 applications.

Desired

  • Communications / marketing / advertising / PR as part of a degree course undertaken, or at least 1 year’s experience of working in, or study of, roles that cover both internal and external communications.
  • Awareness of a broad mix of offline and online communications tools and channels (such as media monitoring tools etc.)
  • Design skills across photo and video an advantage
  • Experience using Microsoft SharePoint
