Join our team and give our world more smiles. FUJIFILM Healthcare UK are looking for an Account Manager β IVD to support the development and growth of our IVD business within the UK. The role will provide effective sales and technical/clinical expertise for all areas of the IVD business in order to maximise sales and budgetary objectives in the UK.
Candidate Location: Central/Northwest England
What you'll do:
- Develop strong opportunities and sales in human and vet markets / expand IVD business into new market segments (hospital / non-hospital).
- Provide specialist clinical knowledge and technical support for all areas of the IVD business.
- Deliver product demonstrations to prospective customers and full implementation of customer installations.
- Assess relevant training needs and design / implement clinical training courses and programmes for existing and new customers.
- Plan and co-ordinate customer clinical evaluations / trials in liaison with the FUJIFILM IVD teams in Japan and Europe.
- Assist IVD Business Manager with budgeting process and produce accurate sales forecasts / document in Salesforce.
- Delivery of projects to increase FUJIFILM market share in IVD market, as agreed with the IVD Business Manager.
- Assist IVD Business Manager with development / implementation of strategic marketing / business plan, including effective market launch of new products / technologies.
- Analysis of existing FUJIFILM install base to understand where opportunities for growth could be exploited.
What you'll need:
- Background in biomedical science/biochemistry or immunodiagnostics.
- Sales experience.
- Experience of working within NHS laboratories.
- Experience in training employees/customers.
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build strong working relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise.
- Salesforce or CRM system experience.
- Full UK driving licence.
This role will involve national travel and overnight stays; therefore you will need to be comfortable with this.
