Role & Responsibilities

• Member of the Site Senior Leadership team reporting directly to the Head of Site.
• Ensure all commercial and clinical products manufactured are safe for human use, by implementing and auditing GMP procedures and practices.
• Serve as the nominated FDBK Production Manager on all site MHRA licences.
• Set and deliver the operations fixed costs budget, ensuring maximum benefit from assets and tracking performance to meet targets.
• Define and execute the incremental change program for the operations team, aligning with strategic development of large-scale manufacturing capabilities.
• Communicate the Operations vision for FDBK and develop strategies balancing business as usual with expansion projects.
• Maintain site inspection readiness plans at all times.
• Lead and promote high standards of Safety, Health, and Environmental practices.
• Improve manufacturing performance through effective people management and training.
• Contribute to site goals as a member of the Leadership Team.
• Develop succession plans to ensure the sustainability of manufacturing and supply chain teams.
• Create policies with long-term organizational impact.

Qualifications And Experience

• Science, Technical or Engineering Degree.
• At least ten years’ experience in GMP manufacturing/operations.
• Minimum of 8 years in senior leadership roles.
• At least 5 years working in a GMP bioscience/pharma environment.
• Experience managing teams of over 10 staff, including goal setting.
• Proven ability to set strategic goals and manage P&L, with data-driven decision-making experience.
• Experience in Change Management or Transformation Projects.
