We are looking for a reliable and motivated

Conversion Operative to join our Production team.

This is a hands-on role working with production machinery and equipment to help ensure products are manufactured efficiently, safely and to the required quality standards.

As a Conversion Operative, you will support the smooth running of the Conversion department by operating production machinery, maintaining high standards of quality and housekeeping, and helping the team meet customer deadlines.

You will work as part of a busy production environment where attention to detail, safe working practices and teamwork are essential.

Your area of responsibility

  • Operate production machinery and equipment effectively and safely.
  • Work towards departmental, personal production and quality targets.
  • Ensure work in progress is kept at manageable levels.
  • Keep machinery and surrounding work areas clean, tidy and organised in line with 5S standards.
  • Report any machinery faults, production issues, non-conformances, unsafe acts or unsafe conditions promptly.
  • Follow all company procedures, health and safety rules and safe working practices.
  • Support multi-skilled training to provide flexibility across the department.
  • Assist with other reasonable tasks and general duties within Conversion and Production when required.
