As a key member of the Fugro Academy Technical Training team, you play a central role in developing and delivering high‑quality training focused on Data Processing and Deliverables. In this position, you create and maintain a diverse portfolio of learning offerings, including in‑person and virtual courses, workshops, and digital content, while working closely with global experts, innovation teams, and fellow trainers. Your work will support consistent, Fugro‑wide standards in data processing, empower our global workforce, and may include occasional international travel to deliver training where it is needed most.

Your role

  • You oversee the design and development of training syllabi, modules, and course content, including exercises and assessment, together with the Senior Trainer and in alignment with the Global Technical Training Manager;
  • You lead the creation and maintenance of e‑learning, blended learning, and distance learning materials, in collaboration with the Digital Learning team;
  • You maintain and update the full training portfolio to ensure all courses remain current, accurate, and aligned with Fugro standards;
  • You coordinate and support the delivery of training, including face‑to‑face, virtual, and self‑paced learning; assist with scheduling and marketing of courses;
  • You support trainers and learners through practical demonstrations, exercises, and ensuring attendee welfare during all training activities;
  • You ensure training facilities, materials, equipment, and software are safely operated, properly maintained, and compliant with QHSE and Fugro Document Standards;
  • You maintain high quality and professional standards, continuously improve training processes, and pursue personal professional development in consultation with the Global Technical Training Manager.

Your track record

  • You have completed Secondary Vocational Education as a minimum, holding a diploma in Surveying, Hydrography, GIS, or a similar discipline, or you have relevant military survey data processing and charting training and experience;
  • You have knowledge of CARIS HIPS & SIPS, ArcGis pro or any other GIS package;
  • You bring advanced experience in the technical discipline, with senior‑level offshore survey data processing and charting expertise across a variety of project types;
  • You have advanced management experience relevant to this role;
  • You hold the necessary certifications/qualifications as applicable;
  • You have an excellent command of English (both oral and in writing).
